Compaq iPAQ H5455 Pocket PC (264493-002 , 264493002)
The H5455 isn't the most compact PDA, nor is it cheap. But it is easily the most powerful Pocket PC, excelling at communications, security, and entertainment. You don't get a camera or keyboard, as you do with the Sony Clie PEG-NZ90, but you get a Bluetooth radio, a Wi-Fi adapter, and a biometric fingerprint reader, making it a compelling choice for those with deep pockets.
The H5455 offers much to appreciate as a corporate communicator. An enviable list of accessories for the iPAQ line is a big advantage for any business wanting to support a single handheld platform that provides a choice of models and add-ons. In our testing, we easily connected the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radios to our office LAN and to our PAN with the help of the powerful, bundled configuration utilities.
As an entertainment device, the H5455 is equally impressive. It comes with the five-star remote-control application Nevo (paired with a consumer-electronics level infrared transmitter), and it scored well on our audio and video tests, trailing only the high-end Sony models (and only for video). The H5455 is an excellent choice if you want lots of features and don't mind paying for them.
